She Did It!

Massive congratulations and thanks to Laura, who completed her first ever half-marathon in aid of Dance Pad. Huge thanks also to those who sponsored her. If you haven't yet sponsored Laura but would like to, you still can by clicking here.

With the sounds of Chariots of Fire and Eye of the Tiger ringing in her ears as she set off, she has smashed her target of £500, raising a whopping £793; that's £61 per mile!

As a direct result of Laura's efforts and your support we can now run an extra project this year. We hope to run this extra project in association with the West London Day Centre. This will be our first time working with those who are sleeping rough and have no where to go. It will bring with it new challenges but also new rewards and I look forward to keeping you all updated.

Crossing the finishing line exhausted and in pain, I can only hope that Laura also felt a great sense of achievement and pride, because her hard work and commitment will go a long way towards helping others.

If you want to support Dance Pad further you can, don't panic - you don't have to run a marathon! Here's a few suggestions:

- Spread the love; follow us on social media and share with your friends and family - Make a monthly donation; £1, £5, £10, it all helps - Put your inner Mary Berry to the test and have a cake sale at work - Coffee fan? Challenge yourself to give up coffee for a month and donate the money you would have spent

The possibilities are endless...!
